Brunch is my all time favorite meal. I don’t know if it’s the bottomless mimosas that make brunch always seem so much fun or the food choices but I can promise you if I get an invite to brunch, I’ll be there. One of my favorite spots in Greenville is Mary’s Cottage which is smack in the center of Falls Park that overlooks the Reedy River. It’s the perfect place to sit outside, enjoy the view and indulge in some of the best food in town. Β You know when you order that one specific item and can’t ever make yourself try anything new because it was so good? That is me at Mary’s Cottage. I have been over a dozen times and I always get the exact same thing. The Hot Chicken Salad is to die for. They use chopped white meat chicken, diced celery, water chestnuts and onions mixed with their special sauce and top it off with a delicious crunch topping. It always comes with a side of broccoli salad and a hot biscuit. I love this southern spot because their menu is so unique and the atmosphere is adorable. If you are ever in the area or need a new brunch spot definitely check it out. You wont be disappointed!
With the warmer weekend weather I finally pulled out my white shorts. I paired them with this fun floral embroidered ruffle top (similar here and dress version here) and my favorite spring bag that goes everywhere with me! I added these fun full bloom earrings from Beth Ladd Collections to add a different pop of color. I decided to go casual for the weekend since we were going to be walking around downtown for a while! I’m hoping to hit up the Farmer’s Market before heading in to work tomorrow.
