I decided to jump the gun and start spring cleaning my closet since we are in the middle of renovating and will be moving out in the next few months! I am trying to get everything organized and ready to go before the big move. It can be very overwhelming so I was super pumped when I found the perfect tool to simplify this process and to help me build a new wardrobe to fit my style preferences. When I came across Cladwell I knew I was ready to being the whole capsule wardrobe process. Cladwell is a tool that guides you to create your best wardrobe to fit your style. Cladwell will take you through a 4 Step Process that clears out clutter and makes room for the pieces that you love and will wear on repeat in your closet. You start the process by cleaning out your closet. This was my favorite part! While getting rid of the items that have just sat in your closet untouched season after season and creating space for your perfect wardrobe. After you have finished the closet clean out you will build a wardrobe that is unique to you and Cladwell will guide you through your color palette process. They will then take a look at your weekly activities to make sure you are on track and that everything will get worn. You will finalize your wardrobe, prepare to go shopping and then you are all set for the season ahead!
After using the Cladwell tool I realized that almost everything in my closet was printed and that I didn’t have a lot of great solid pieces or everyday tees. It makes it much easier in the mornings to just grab and go since everything mixes so well now. It feels great to be able to open my closet and know that I love everything in it and that I don’t have to dig around to get to my favorite pieces anymore. My favorite part of the whole process would definitely be the closet clean out. I feel that it was very beneficial for me since I was able to get rid of so many items that were never worn. I will definitely continue to shop throughout the spring season (and will definitely have more than 37 pieces in my closet…shopping probs) but will be smarter about my choices and buy pieces that will last a lifetime from now on.
