If you have been following along for the past few months then you know that I have invested more time on my skin care routine this summer. I have tried a lot of different products in the past but never really took the time to do research and meet with a professional to find out what would be best for me until recently. After meeting with Clemson Eye Aesthetics I knew that I was very interested in trying Botox (view my post here), Dermaplaning & the Halo treatment that I’ve been hearing wonderful things about.
With summer coming to an end I thought it was the best time to remove dead skin and get a fresh glow with Clemson Eye Aesthetic’s Dermaplaning. I had no idea what Dermaplaning was until I met with Tammie. It’s a simple process where a surgical scalpel blade is gently sketched across your face to remove all dead skin and any unwanted hair. I promise it’s not as scary as it sounds, I was actually very relaxed during the procedure and would go back every week if I could. I found the whole process to be soothing and almost fell asleep half way through! The results were immediate. I was able to walk out of the office and go straight out to dinner. I kept feeling my face because I couldn’t believe how smooth it felt. After having all of the “fuzz” removed I noticed that my skin wasn’t holding on to excess oil and dirt which helps prevent breakouts. And, I could now get the full benefits of my skin care routine at home due to cell regeneration allowing products to better penetrate skin.
Overall, I was very pleased with the results. If you are like me and have used way too many exfoliants in the past without the results that you wanted, then you will love Dermaplaning. This time of year is perfect to book your appointment since the sunny summer days are coming to an end and you can start the new season with a fresh face.
Stay tuned for my Halo review with Clemson Eye Aesthetics!
