This weekend was the first weekend that I actually had no plans except for working a few hours at the shop (Vann & Liv) and doing a closet consultation. I have been trying to finally catch up on my To Do list. It seems that as soon as I cross something off I remember something else that needs to be added. I feel like it has been a struggle getting organized when we have been pretty much living out of a suitcase for an entire year. This weekend I finally tried to organize my closet, desk, and everything else in this little room of ours. I got super pumped when we rode by the house and saw that all of the sheet rock had been installed!! Its finally starting to look like a house and we couldn’t be more excited. I can’t wait to share all of the fun details once everything starts coming together.

When organizing the closet I notice that I have a handful of dresses that I reach for frequently when rushing out the door. I decided to keep those front and center so that they are easy to grab and go. They are all similar in style, easy to throw on and I only have to add a few accessories without having to try to hard. When I came across this pale pink poppy printed shift dress I knew that it was one that I would reach for quite often and perfect for any summer event. The colors and print are what caught my eye, they reminded me of a dress that my mom used to have when I was younger. I love that it gives off a vintage feel and has  gorgeous detailing at the neckline which gives it a unique look. I can’t wait to wear this all summer long and thought it was perfect for a bridal shower or luncheon. My favorite accessories right now are my Kendra Scott Statement Earrings that I got from the Reward Style Conference. I will be wearing them with just about everything I own this season.
