When you think Spring you usually think of bright florals, nautical stripes and lots of color. And if you know me, you know that my go-to is a fun little shift dress that is easy to throw on for the work week and transition into happy hour or grabbing a bite to eat at the local taco joint.

This floral shift from Prowse on Main is perfect to dress up for baby showers or wedding events by adding a fun statement necklace or some big earrings and summer sandals. This time of year is usually full of lots of events so I like to have a few options on hand to pull from when things get crazy busy. This dress will be one of those items this season. I plan on wearing it to the next shower I have coming up since its bright and flirty and perfect for a day luncheon with the girls.

For a more casual laid back summer look I fell in love with this nautical navy and white striped tee shirt dress (available here). The fit and comfort of it are amazing. For the cooler spring mornings I threw this white denim jacket over it and added a pop of color with these fringe sandals. I’ll definitely be throwing this bag in my suitcase for my upcoming summer trips!
