With tomorrow being the first Monday of 2016 I’ve decided to get my butt in gear and prepare for a happy, healthy spring. I don’t ever really make resolutions at the beginning of the year but I like to jot down my goals and start the year off with a clean slate. My list of goals is pretty long but I wanted to start with my fitness goals. I go to my bootcamp class 4-5 days a week and plan to continue that as well as add running back into my routine. My running regime went downhill after we moved last summer. Im ready to start it back with adding a couple of days of long distance a sprints (my fav!) each week. Along with that I’m trying to clean up my eating (would love any recipes you have to share). I’ve decided not to go on a diet but to eat cleaner for the whole month of January to start. I always get pumped up with new fitness gear so I’ve picked my favs of the moment to share with you! These running shoes are my all time favorite, the first time I purchased a pair was when I was training for my first half marathon and I will never switch to another pair. They are super comfy and great for long distances. This week I’ll be making new efforts to lead up to my long term goals. What are your goals for the new year?? Any advice or words of wisdom would be great!
