TGIF!!!! I hope everyone has had a wonderful week. I am so excited for a fun-filled weekend in NYC with my sisters. We head out tomorrow for a few days of ENK Children’s Club and lots of delicious dinners and shopping to go along with it. 

I had the opportunity last night to participate in the Fashion With A Passion event with Monkees of the Westend! It is a local event where all proceeds go to support Safe Harbor, which is a non-profit organization that helps victims of domestic violence in South Carolina. I was honored to be asked to participate in the event this year. To learn more about Safe Harbor visit their site here. 

After searching for the perfect dress for the fashion show with the help of my Monkees girls (thanks to Jeni, Kate, Tori, Kathleen…the list goes on and on!) we decided on a simple jersey fabric but elegant black Susana Monaco Maxi and accessorized in lots of bling (Beyonce style). 

I started pulling all of the bright, bold printed Spring styles off the racks and adding them to my dressing room as I was trying on for the fashion show because I couldn’t resist all of the fabulousness! I came across this Hacienda Maxi and fell in love with it as soon as I put it on. I have been wanting a good off-the-shoulder dress and the fit of this one was perfect! I needed the perfect sun-kissed glow for the event and since I have been in tights and leggings all winter long I had add some color with the help of my favorite salon studio,  Organic Tan! I always come out looking like I’ve been on the beach all day and I  love that their spray tans give such a natural look and that they use a sunless, spray product that is ECO-certified DHA.  I can usually see great color for about 6 days and their price can’t be beat (only $19)!!
