Looks like I have my Friday night dinner plans set for me! I mean who is going to pass up a thin crust, pepperoni and cheese on National Pizza Party Day? Pass the parmesan please!
I don’t know if I’ve ever met anyone that doesn’t love a good cheesy pizza pie. We have so many great local options in Greenville that I thought it was the perfect day to share all of my favs.
Tito’s Pizzeria is one of those places that you would drive past and not think to stop in (these are typically the best restaurants). This spot is authentic Italian food. I also go for the NY Style White Pizza that is topped with mozzarella, ricotta and garlic. If you check it out make sure to try their pastas too! The bolognese and fettuccini are to die for.
Another favorite is Frodos Pizza. This was our high school hang out so I will always have a love for this place. I usually start with their salad bar and order The Everything with thin crust. It literally has everything you can think of that is delicious on top. This is a fun spot to grab a beer and take the kids as well.
Sidewall Pizza is a more recent favorite. Their first location opened in Travelers Rest so we would drive up for a delicious slice followed by their amazing homemade ice-cream. Not only is their ice-cream and pizza awesome, every time that you dine with them a portion of the proceeds goes towards their Side Wall Pizza Community Fund which helps individuals, families and organizations in need in our area! (PS- their Smoky Salad is just as tasty as their pizza so if you want a lighter option, give it a try.)
There you have it, my top 3 pizza spots in town. I hope everyone enjoys a delicious slice today!
If you have any favorites that I missed, let me know in the comments below. I always love trying out new places!
