{DINING TABLE INSPIRATION}
Here we are again at Week 3 of the One Room Challenge!! So, when I started working with Frances Still of Kinloch Interiors we both decided that since my dining room is square shaped that a big round table would be perfect for the room. I have always had a round table and I love that it feels so intimate when you have guests over and everyone can see each other!
As you can see in our inspiration picture we made up our minds that this was the exact look that we were going for. We fell in love with the modern lines and loved the fact that it was different than the typical pedestal table that has been popular and you tend to see a lot of.
We knew this exact look would be hard to find so Frances reached out to her favorite local table maker, Jody Westhart to give us this same feel so that we could customize it with the exact stain and look that we wanted. With our color scheme we ended up choosing the Miniwax Classic Gray in satin sheen.
We couldn’t be happier with the end result!! Scroll below to see the entire process and whats coming in the next few weeks…
I don’t want to give away the entire room yet so I will wait until Week 6 to share the full look.
Here is what you can expect in the next couple of weeks (hopefully in this order but can’t make any promises as you know how cray things can go when trying to get everything done in a crunch)…cant believe we are half way there!
Week 4: ART
I am dying to share this part because I truly believe that art makes a room. I’m not going to give it away just yet but I could not be happier with the Artists that I have partnered with. Take a peek here, here, here and here to see who I’ll be working with to make my room bright and beautiful!
Week 5: CHAIRS + BAR CART + RUG
Week 6: THE BIG REVEAL
