ONE ROOM CHALLENGE WEEK 4

Well, hello week four of the One Room Challenge. Where in the heck did you come from? How have the weeks gone by so fast, and where has this month gone? Ok, enough questions…lets talk about this porch transformation! I can’t even begin to tell you how excited that we are to start bringing the room together. So, this week we have a lot going on and the porch is finally coming to life.

If you are a local here in Greenville, then you know that Art & Light Gallery is the place to go to find the most inspiring pieces for your home. Teresa Roche, who owns the gallery, knew what we needed to make the porch come to life and did this amazing painting on wood so that it could live safely outdoors. Her paintings are so unique and she is one of the most talented artists I’ve ever come across.

And how can you have a porch without plants? We couldn’t resist Meredith Piper’s Plants on Pink Collection and found the perfect home for 2 of her pieces right on our porch. It is safe to say both Amanda Louise and I are obsessed with her pastel hues and detailing. Next week you will get a peek at where we are placing these gorgeous pieces!

The pillows are all in and we are impressed with how well they all blend. There is a lot of print and colors going on but my girl, Amanda Louise just knows how to make it work. As you can see our cushions for the Kenian Chippendale Chairs and missing, they are currently getting covered in this fun Tonic Living Fabric by Justina Blakeney and I can’t wait to see the result! Our daybed is also getting covered with this fun rainbow striped fabric. Seriously, I’m dying to see how it all turns out.

What’s Next:

We found this awesome gold and wood combo bar cart that is perfect for outdoors and we will be stocking and accessorizing the bar next week for entertaining purposes. We also scooped up this gold storage table that fits in perfectly with everything else in the room. And after all of the votes we can’t wait to announce our rug winner that will arrive right in time for the final week of our transformation. Next week will be full of all nighters getting things done!
