Week 5 of the ORC has arrived and this room is now full of colorful happiness! After adding all of the fabrics I could barely remember what the room looked like before. When we started it was pretty much a neutral space with hardly any furniture for seating. Here’s the room before:
And here’s the room at Week 5:
SO MUCH COLOR!
All of the amazing details are starting to come together and with the help of all of you, we were able to decide on this gorgeous outdoor rug from Overstock. The neutrals in this rug were perfect since we have a lot of color going on everywhere else.
Now that we have more seating for guest we wanted to brighten it up so we added a pop of color to these Kenian Chippendale Chairs with this fun fabric from Tonic Living and covered the old muted grey day bed fabric with this rainbow striped fabric from Textile Supply! We tossed these fun Cobalt Stroke Pillows in the chairs to mix up the prints. Local artist, Marquin Campbell took this design from one of her original paintings and reproduced it in a mirrored repeat for fabric. I mean… for real, they couldn’t be any more perfect with what we have planned.
So, as you can see its finally starting to look like we are making some progress. With 2 weeks left to go, Amanda Louise and I are prepping for the Final Reveal! Next week we will be getting all of the details in place, filling the room with accessories, stocking the bar… because who doesn’t need a full bar when you are trying to transform a room in 6-7 weeks and hanging that fabulous art on the walls that you saw in last weeks post! So the next week will be full of a ton of work, a fun photoshoot and lots of wine. Feel free to come over and join us!

I adore the coffee table you chose!
Thank you so much Libby! It’s actually an antique piece from my Grandmother π
