ONE ROOM CHALLENGE WEEK 6

Holy Moly, we have one week left until the Final Reveal Week of the One Room Challenge! Just when we thought we were behind we ended up finishing the entire room about 2 weeks early. Props to Amanda Louise for busting it out. I cannot wait to share with you the entire room next week (which I am absolutely in love with) but had to highlight this Target Bar Cart (could easily pass for high end but it’s only $113) that is now party ready!

We will be filling our home with friends and family for the next few months to celebrate the holiday festivities ahead. My must-have for entertaining is the perfectly styled bar cart to keep the party rolling. We decided with the cooler seasons comes different drink options. We filled the cart with some local favorites including Jocassee Gin (for the gin + tonics), Mountain Peak Espresso Rum for after dinner options and Whiskey Girl Apple Maple Whiskey that pairs perfectly with ginger beer, lime and simple syrup.

Amanda Louise is the expert bar cart stylist so she grabbed these fun cocktail + bar books so they would be easily accessible to find a good cocktail recipe for guests. We decided to add a mix of vintage and modern with the accessories like this Agate Tray (similar), Justina Blakeney wire fruit bowl, Marquin Designs Vanity Tray stocked with Pellegrino and these fun Silvered Geode Coasters. We wanted to add a little lighting for when the sun goes down so we put these Votivo Red Currant Candles scattered around the porch. I’ve always loved a bar cart with art hanging above it to add extra character and this Teresa Roche painting was the perfect size to add a punch color and textures on the white wall.
