It’s that time of year again when it’s all about football, friends, laughter and lots of fun. I love when there is a good reason to throw a party. I mean, life’s too short not to party, right? If you asked Ryan, he would tell you that I would be happy having a house party every. single. night.
When I found out that I was going to get the chance to partner with McAlister’s Deli for a fun tailgate party I immediately contacted my favorite girls as well as the party planner herself, Kelly Ford of Ford Studio of Design. We started with the table styling and wanted it to be beautiful and have a fall feel. Kelly certainly knows how to put a party together. She whipped it all up in about 30 minutes and was all about the details. From the fun nacho bar with the chip basket to adding florals to the cocktails, everything she touches looks like magic.
Choosing what to serve our guests was next on our list. We decided to make a delicious and easy Rooftop Lemonade Cocktail with McAlister’s Deli fresh lemonade to kick off the tailgate party. I usually like to include a few different beverages so that people can have options so we offered McAlister’s Southern Sweet Tea, and some delicious sparkling wines as well.
I loved the idea of setting up my favorite serving boards with finger foods that were easy to eat while interacting. We arranged a variety of McAlister’s signature sandwiches on these trays from 4 Rooms so that they were easy for people to grab while socializing. We also wanted to offer a nacho bar so that everyone could pick their toppings and customize their nachos. We arranged the toppings in little marble bowls and spread around the cutting board with the big chip basket in the middle so that the guest could easily access all of the toppings. And we all know a party isn’t complete without a dessert tray so we decided to offer a range of desserts from chocolate chip and heath bar cookies to brownies to end the day with a sweet treat.
We all agreed that a party is best when you can get it catered from McAlister’s Deli. It saves so much time and money when someone else can do the cooking and you can focus on entertaining and making it look beautiful. I love that McAlister’s offers a wide range of catering options to choose from. The nacho bar, sandwich tray and dessert tray were perfect for our tailgate party. Next time I can’t wait to try the Spud Bar and when I found out that they offer a Breakfast option as well, I decided that a brunch party is next on my list of parties.
A huge thanks to all of our vendors for making this party complete!
