STATEMENT STYLE WITH MIGNONNE GAVIGAN

We had lots of fun plans this past weekend. I worked at the shop again on Saturday after a busy week at my full time job, so I was ready for a night on the town after I left work. Ryan & I headed to a Derby Party which was our first stop of the night, then out to dinner with my sister and brother-in-law at Augusta Grill for my favorite Flank Steak Salad, and ended the night celebrating a friends birthday with lots of great company and good wine. On Sunday we celebrated Mother’s Day with our sweet families and then headed home early to get rested up for the week ahead.

I glanced at my calendar in between all of the craziness last week and realized I better start planning my party outfits for the season. The perfect accessory is truly what makes an outfit in my opinion! I love planning my looks around a gorgeous statement necklace so I was pretty pumped to team up with my favorite jewelry designer, Mignonne Gavigan!! I am very excited to share my favorite pieces from the collection and how I styled each of them for the season.

Le Marcel is the perfect amount of fringe and gives off a classic look while staying on trend this summer. It pairs perfectly with everything from a basic tee like this one and these jeans to a fun printed dress like this one or this one!  I love how this neutral ombre one goes with every single thing in my closet but I am dying for this light blue one to add a pop to any outfit!!

I love the neutral palette of this look but wanted to add a pop of print while staying in the same color family. Its safe to say that I am absolutely obsessed with this Narnia Scarf Necklace that is made on silk chiffon with hand beading design. It also comes in this black and white color way that is perfect layered over this solid dress!

 Can we say love at first site…. this Parakeet Necklace is it! The detailing and design of this necklace are amazing, I put it on and felt like I was wearing a beautiful piece of art. I wish I had seen this before my wedding because I would’ve worn it to every shower or party I attended since it looks amazing against white. (Brides-to-be you better grab this one while you can). It also look perfect with this LBD to liven it up!

Im big on mixing different shades of the same color this season. As soon as I saw this Georgeanna Necklace in Blush I knew that it would pair perfectly with my neon pink top (from last season, similar style here). I love the fact that this necklace can make a simple neckline look stunning and even look like it is a part of the dress. The flirty look of this necklace gives any outfit a fun and sassy vibe while looking perfectly put together!
