Summer Travel with Vera Bradley

I love to travel during the warmer months. Summer has always been my favorite season. It reminds me of family vacations, traveling to tropical destinations and trips with my best girlfriends. Last year, my trip to Italy for our honeymoon was hands down the best vacation I have ever experienced. I learned a lot about packing and the necessities after returning home from that trip. It was the first time I had been to Europe and I definitely could’ve packed less and included some essentials that I needed once I got on the plane.

Good luggage is always key. I am currently loving Vera Bradley’s new collection. My top 3 favorite pieces include this Wheeled Carry-On, this large Duffle Bag, and this Cosmetic Organizer, which fits every single one of my necessities.

For my summer vacays I make sure not to leave home without this Supergoop Lip Screen, it is seriously a life saver, my lips have always been the first thing to burn in the sun and it is the only product that I have found to truly work! I also recently tried out this Day to Day Kit which is perfect for travel and full of sun care goodies. I like to pack a light fragrance for trips and prefer roller ball perfumes since they don’t take up as much room. I have always been obsessed with Bobbi Brown Beach for summer and just recently came across this amazing fresh scented perfume, Replica Beach Walk that has similar notes and reminds me of a sandy walk on the beach.

Lately, I have found it easier to pack snacks while traveling. Whether I am rushing through the airport or traveling by car I always like to have some healthy options available that are quick and easy to grab. Right now I am loving these Peanut Butter + Strawberry KIND Bars and when I’m in the mood for a salty option these Honey Mustard flavored ones are the bomb!!! And of course I always have a Lacroix on hand to wash it down.

{TRAVEL ESSENTIALS}

I usually wear lightweight shorts and a top, or an easy shift dress like this one for travel in the summer months. I prefer to stay cool while traveling by car and always wear a cute, comfy pair of sandals. When traveling by plane it always gets a little cooler so I like to pack a printed scarf to wrap up in just incase.
