A few weekends ago, I loaded up the car with my friend Paula Rallis, to hit the road for a long girls weekend in Charleston that my friend Jaime Huffman planned for us along with some other friends that we met through blogging. We got the opportunity to stay at the beautiful, coastal dream house, The Bea’s Nest on Isle of Palms. I was inspired by the design and decor the second I walked in the door! Today, I wanted to share a few of my favorite places and things to do while on the Charleston coast.
Where To Stay:
The Bea’s Nest: We got the opportunity to stay at The Bea’s Nest which was a dream come true. The vibrant whites, soft sea green hints of color throughout the house and palm trees surrounding all sides of the house made this a coastal getaway you will want to keep coming back to. It’s located in the heart of Isle of Palms, about one block from the beach (a quick and easy walk right onto the sand). Thank you, Port 2 Palm for the amazing hospitality!
Where To Eat & Drink:
Coda del Pesce: (Italian for “tail of the fish”) Authentic Italian food at it’s best! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu- from the pasta to the seafood, everything is absolutely delicious, and the ocean view tops it off!
The Obstinate Daughter: One of my all time favorite restaurants. We ended up going here 3 times in 4 days! The cocktails are to die for, the staff is full of southern hospitality and everything on the menu is equally amazing.
Must trys: Obstinate Flatbread, Low Country Shrimp Roll, Ricotta Gnocchi, Old Danger Pizza, The King’s Honey Cocktail.
More places to check out: Poe’s Tavern, 5Church Charleston, The Darling Oyster, Leon’s Oyster Shop, 167 Raw.

WHAT TO DO:
Beach It: Ofcourse, the first thing I want to do when I get to Charleston is hit up the beach! Sullivan’s Island is my all time favorite place to spend day on the water. Whether you are up for fun activities like sailing, paddle boarding or kiteboarding or chilling on the sand all day, there is something for everyone to enjoy on Sullivans.
Shopping Downtown: King Street is fun to stroll while popping in some of my favorite stores! Some of my favorites include: HAMPDEN, Small by HAMPDEN, V2V, Beckett Boutique.
Treat Yo’ Self:
Spa: Woodhouse Day Spa, Nails: Mylk Bar, Salon: Largo Salon
Our girls weekend in Charleston was full of lots of fun squeezed into just a few days. I’ll be headed back to Charleston soon and will keep you updated on the new places I check out while in town! Leave a comment below with your favorite places to visit while in town.
